New AI Settings/ AI Strenght

As some people mentioned AI is too dumb and weak we tried to make them smarter and better. we are using https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/16637 ... -overhaul/ instead of asr_ai now.

how do you like it - is it ok? to hard? still to easy?

hmm - seems like they wandered out to hunt someone. maybe we should add a defend waypoint into the town for them with the vcom ai. o rmaybe they tried to even help other ai nearby.

is this happening more than once now?

I did not notice any simmlar activity, but truth to be told i didn't even look for one. But yes base was at selekano so probably quite few people passed the Chalkeia by main road and yes there was Enemy outpost online at the Selekano airfield, however they kept pushing towards selekano even when Outpost has despawned. Guard or Defend waypoint sounds like good idea!

Hey Wiking, so ive had some feedback from 3-5 players, and they think the AI are a bit to hard, the reaktion time and aiming is OP. Even xKillerX think they are to hard. They say that they have no more then 1sek to aim before they HS you from a long distance with 5.56.

Hi,

in my opinion the AI infantery is perfect as it is at the moment. They are smart, use the given cover or create one by smoking. Sometimes they even flank. I think they should not be nerfed.
If a player dies it's because they approached wrong or they didn't use a cover themselves.

Unfortunately i can't say anything about vehicles. I guess they are pretty hard to beat.

The most interesting thing about my latest pic is that the AI drove from Paros? Can't see the name on the map, directly to master and parked outside the house he was in. It's like he saw hem from 8km away. Same thing happend to me a outside Agios Crazios. Larg money shipment drove directly to my possioion from the other side of the mountain. And then pointed his gun at we thru the wall and waited.

hm - was there any other ai nearby masters position? - they got radios and may also hunt down ppl seen by other soldiers of their faction.

anyways - as the vcom ai is much more agile as the arma3 vanilla ai we have to rework all static missions to include defend waypoints. but will take a some time to do so. so have fun with them while it is that way ;-)
