First the Rules:
- 1 base per group/ clan
- Bases cannot exceed 60 meter radius of base locker (wont re-lock/ refresh when outside of the radius and de-spawn after 120 hours)
- Bases should be held to 3 canal walls of height (exceptions can be made for singular tower structures on top (no stacks of towers like Rapunzel) )
- Bases cannot be built on top of stores or in mission spawns (scripts prevent this)
- Placing objects into base entrances as a way to raid bases is forbidden and objects will be removed
- Bases should be built realistically (objects should generally not float 50 meters above the ground) (gravity should be considered)
- Bases last for 120 hours, base times are checked every restart so be accurate and diligent with the base refresh (a safe bet is to refresh every 4 days rather than every 5)
- Bigger bases cost more money in upkeep so build according to your budget. additionally more base objects affect server performance, so less fps for you
Instructions for building a base
Re: Instructions for building a base
So now to build:
Due to the penetration of bullets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cix07R1vlhI), a base should always consist of several layers.
How to secure the generator:
In this way, the generator can no longer be destroyed!
Please remember that Arma was never meant to build bases. For this reason, no base is 100% secure. However, the tips given in this manual are the basis for a largely secure base.
