Hello Armajunkies,
Dwarden from Bohemia programmed a clientside performance executable. This executable has been made to deliver 2 things:
- Solve a PhysX Logspam Bug
- More FPS on clients
How to install the client executable:
- Close Arma 3
- Download Dwardens executable: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/582opsto4mmr8d8/AAC-EFCXJNniJ2BBxpniaqcSa/arma3client_performance_138v1.7z?dl=0
- Unpack the file 7zip: http://www.7-zip.org/
- Localize your Arma directory
– Open Steam
– Right Click on Arma 3
– Click on Properties
– Open the Tab Local Files
– Click on Browse local files - Rename your arma3.exe to arma3_old.exe
- Copy the unpacked file in your arma 3 directory
- Rename the file arma3client_performance_138v1.exe to arma3.exe
- Have fun and report Issues to us
Report Issues:
Dwarden needs YOUR help to improve the client performance build. Please don’t do not just complain in the chat, if you are getting problems. It will not help!
Please help Dwarden improve the performance.
Please follow these steps, if your game crashes:
a) Collect your crash Logs and screenshot the Message
Collect Logs:
- Open your explorer
- Enter the following string: %userprofile%AppDatalocalArma 3
- You will end up in a folder with a lot of rpt files. This is your Arma 3 Log Folder!
Sort the files by date and pick up the latest files with the extensions:
.RPT, .MDMP and .BIDMP
b) Open a ticket directly to Bohemia: http://feedback.arma3.com/
c) Please take some time and describe your issue detailed
Please attach the collected files and the screenshot to the ticket
